Lander Veterinary Clinic is staffed by professional veterinarians committed to the health and welfare of dairy and beef cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and camelids. Our doctors are licensed and experienced in lab diagnosis and treating these species for illnesses or correcting patient health-related problems with the most advanced surgical techniques and procedures available.
Ninety-eight percent of our exams, surgical procedures and therapy are performed on-site at the farm or ranch. Surgeries are frequently performed with common cattle problems such as left and right displaced abomasal correction, hernia surgery, rumenostomy, intestinal obstruction, urolithiasis, perineal laceration repair, ocular inoculation, and wound suture.
Emergency veterinary medicine and surgery is available 24/7 on-site. Frequent food animal emergencies can include dystocia (difficult calvings) caesarian section, prolapsed uterus, prolapsed vagina, lacerated milk vein, toxic indigestion, mastitis, metritis and bloat.
