Dairy Diagnostics Staff
I grew up in Ceres CA here in the central valley. I am currently finishing my B.S. in Biology at CSU Stanislaus. I have always had an
interest in science, and being part of a team that helps ensure safe quality dairy is sent to consumers is fulfilling to me. In my spare time, I
like hiking, playing soccer, and going to the gym. Other hobbies I recently picked up have been taking care of my 40-gallon aquarium, and reading.
My name is Alondra Ramirez Gonzalez. I grew up in Modesto, Ca and graduated from UC Merced with a Bachelors degree in Molecular and cellular Biology. I furthered my education by completing a post-baccalaureate program at UC Santa Cruz. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching TV and spending time with my family and friends.

I grew up loving science and math. I found endless entertainment through them and continued that trend all the way through University. I Studied
Biology, Chemistry and Technology at Brigham Young University and UOP. My favorite hobbies are reading, cycling, running, and hiking in the mountains. As an embryologist, it is exciting to use scientific principles to meet clients’ goals and create genetically advanced cattle!
I grew up in Ceres, CA and graduated with a B.S. in Animal Science from UC Davis. In 2021, I joined the Lander Veterinary Clinic ET/ IVF department in pursuit of my passion for bovine genetics. In the lab, you can find me searching for oocytes and embryos while listening to audiobooks or fertilizing and growing embryos until they are ready to be transferred/frozen. In my free time, I love going hiking and backpacking with my husband and two dogs or hanging out with my family.

I was born in central Minnesota where my family had a small farm, and my love for agriculture stayed the same when we moved to California. We moved to California and my love for agriculture continued. I was active in the Future Farmers of America at John H. Pitman High School, then moved on to California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, where I earned a Bachelors in Dairy Science. A great part of my job is forming and deepening relationships with my co-workers and clients.
My husband Dennis and I have three beautiful daughters. In our spare time, we enjoy taking the girls to the Oakland Athletic baseball games, the beach, and Portuguese festas.
