Our History

When Dr. Robert “Bob” Harris founded Lander Veterinary Clinic in Turlock, California nearly 70 years ago, milk was selling for $.18 per quart in glass bottles delivered to your house. You could buy a fully equipped John Deere Model 50 farm tractor for less than $1,800. The good old days!

Since those days, the legacy of Dr. Harris has been a thriving veterinary practice built on the primacy of family life as a core value. His intense work ethic is carried forward by our team of food animal veterinary specialists. Their passion is to remain on the cutting edge of veterinary medicine for the benefit of Central Valley dairy farmers and beef producers.
