I grew up in Ceres, CA and graduated with a B.S. in Animal Science from UC Davis. In 2021, I joined the Lander Veterinary Clinic ET/ IVF department in pursuit of my passion for bovine genetics. In the lab, you can find me searching for oocytes and embryos while listening to audiobooks or fertilizing and growing embryos until they are ready to be transferred/frozen. In my free time, I love going hiking and backpacking with my husband and two dogs or hanging out with my family.

I was born in central Minnesota where my family had a small farm, and my love for agriculture stayed the same when we moved to California. We moved to California and my love for agriculture continued. I was active in the Future Farmers of America at John H. Pitman High School, then moved on to California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, where I earned a Bachelors in Dairy Science. A great part of my job is forming and deepening relationships with my co-workers and clients.
My husband Dennis and I have three beautiful daughters. In our spare time, we enjoy taking the girls to the Oakland Athletic baseball games, the beach, and Portuguese festas.
